About Crowned with Care
The Crowned with Care Initiative is dedicated to empowering young people by providing them with high-quality hair care services, educational workshops, and essential tools to foster a deeper understanding of their self-care. This initiative goes beyond just hair care; it addresses a critical need within the Afro-textured community by increasing cultural awareness and providing the knowledge necessary to help young people care for their unique hair textures.

The program works not only to improve the self-esteem and confidence of young people by teaching them how to care for their hair, but also educates their support networks (such as parents, carers, and foster care professionals) to ensure they can provide informed, thoughtful attention to the cultural and practical needs of children with Afro-textured hair.

By doing so, Crowned with Care helps bridge the gap in understanding and creates a more supportive, informed environment for young people, ultimately nurturing their identity and self-worth in a way that is both culturally sensitive and empowering.
